TRADE SUPPORT SPECIALIST ANALYST (LOCATION: MAURITIUS ONLY)

A Trade Support Specialist (TSS) works within a team operating on a 24/6 basis. The analyst monitors the company’s platform(s), identifies and resolves issues that may arise on a day-to-day basis, and assists various teams within the business and across third parties in a range of projects relating to the company.

The TSS must be able to act independently or without supervision and make split second decisions. The role requires sound multi-disciplinary skills across finance, IT, statistics, big-data analysis, and the ideal candidate has to be confident within a client-facing role.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain good knowledge of the business and workflows of the company, and follow procedures, rules and any regulation of the company and/or set out under the laws of the United Kingdom, Mauritius and any other relevant jurisdiction.
  • Ensure that all components of the DMALINK platform(s) are operating optimally at all times
  • Ensure that each counterparty solely transacts authorised instruments
  • Ensure that each counterparty operates within authorised credit limits, prepare and submit requests to increase (or otherwise modify credit limits) where required
  • Maintain adequate records in connection with all counterparties connected to, or transacting on, the DMALINK platform with regards to 24hr support desk and other authorised persons, authorised instruments, authorised credit limits
  • Investigate and resolve technical, price (market data), and other trade related issues within tight deadlines
  • Ensure that all completed trades have been duly reported to, and matched at, the company’s Prime Broker
  • Assist with new client on-boarding and integrations (technical as well as operational), schedule and carry out live test trades
  • Identify market risk position to the company and execute offsetting deals manually on the platform (live trading)
  • Use mathematical and statistical analysis skills to better understand, and produce management, client and liquidity provider reports on, trade execution, flow, as well as liquidity.

CAREER DEVELOPMENT

TSS employees have strong career growth opportunities within the company. WORK CONDITIONS

The global FX market operates from Sunday 5pm New York (NY) time through to Friday 5pm NY time. Pre-Sales Executive

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is keen to start their career in electronic foreign exchange/financial markets/FinTech supporting the sales team efforts in identifying, qualifying and arranging calls with senior sales staff. You will be working alongside a highly experienced, accomplished team, coming from diversified backgrounds - all working collectively on market disruptive technologies that will pave the way for other market participants.

This is a detail-orientated role whereby each of your calls/enquires/research will be highly targeted and personalised towards the person and business that you are engaging with.

The target client base are banks, hedge funds, asset managers and corporations through the United Kingdom, Europe and North America. You will be targeting key decision makers within those firms.

Key responsibilities

  • To identify new sales opportunities within the Institutional/B2B market – Banks, Hedge funds, Funds of Funds, Alternative funds, Pension funds, Proprietary desks, Family offices
  • To actively engage in contacting relevant decision makers from the target audience
  • Ability to build rapport with the aim of securing a call with senior team members
  • Provide regular updates to the executive team to ensure they are aware of the pre sales efforts and upcoming opportunities
  • Create an achievable plan of action to execute in the coming weeks and months
  • Ensure all conversations are kept compliant and ethical
  • Logging all interactions in the CRM system ensuring proper note-keeping

The Marketing Executive will play a key role in the design of all external marketing material (online and print) in line with our new online brand identity. Responsibilities

Head of Operations Mauritius

We are seeking to appoint a seasoned, well-rounded, and experienced Head of Operations to head a team of six members in Mauritius. You will work side-by-side with one of the founders to create efficiencies across the operations department and the wider business. The operations team monitors the company’s platforms, identifies and resolves issues that may arise on a day-to-day basis, and assists various teams within the business and across third parties in a range of projects relating to the company.

As the Head of Operations, you will drive to achieve operational excellence. You will oversee all operational procedures and tasks globally. You will have oversight and be responsible for the performance and optimization of all trading platforms, including the technical onboarding of clients and liquidity providers on the platform. You will develop best practices, acquiring expert knowledge of the platform’s technology back-ends and front-ends, anticipating operational risks, and taking precautionary and corrective measures to ensure business continuity and the highest service quality.

You will work with the UK-based data science team to continuously raise trading performance for platform participants. Further, you will be responsible for communicating effectively with all stakeholders while ensuring the operations team are well organised and performing well.

You will play an important part in the development of the company’s product offerings and its processes. You must enjoy teamwork with stakeholders distributed across global jurisdictions, overseeing the overall smooth running of global operations systems, including attending to regular calls (and physical meetings as the client community in Mauritius and across Africa grows) with global banks and financial institutions. This is a role for someone who wishes to be actively involved in operations and certain sales aspects.

The Challenge
